Life is a test. We are not present on earth to just exist; we are here to learn. Life is a lesson. Love one another unconditionally. Love thyself unconditionally. We spend our whole lives learning to do this. Some succeed and some never have a clue. I'm trying. Love my fellow man. Don't react and don't always have to be right. This is one I'll have to work on for the rest of my life. Appreciate each day and recognize positive and negative as a part of life's experiences. Look around me and see life at it's best. The joys of living come as you strive to achieve your dreams. Its the quality of each day that is important, not the distant dream once achieved. Teach and nurture my children. You can never give them too much love. -Randa Jex 1/1/94

Jex/Ross family=0, Stomach Virus= 5

July 23: I will spare you all the details but I had to document this week’s unexpected and unappreciated visitor…the stomach virus.  We believe Austin brought it home from Daycare on Friday, not a normal school day for him it was just an unlucky random drop-in.  He got really sick Saturday night/Sunday morning and was over it- lucky dude.  We thought his tummy didn’t agree with dinner until we heard about other friends at Daycare getting sick too.  Monday night as I was working in my office in Jackson, I got it……by 4am Zach had it in Natchez and was in the hospital getting an IV by noon…by Wednesday Dad got it…and Thursday mom started feeling bad.  Oh and we can’t forget that we gave it to Mom’s maid, oops.
No good, very bad week!
