Life is a test. We are not present on earth to just exist; we are here to learn. Life is a lesson. Love one another unconditionally. Love thyself unconditionally. We spend our whole lives learning to do this. Some succeed and some never have a clue. I'm trying. Love my fellow man. Don't react and don't always have to be right. This is one I'll have to work on for the rest of my life. Appreciate each day and recognize positive and negative as a part of life's experiences. Look around me and see life at it's best. The joys of living come as you strive to achieve your dreams. Its the quality of each day that is important, not the distant dream once achieved. Teach and nurture my children. You can never give them too much love. -Randa Jex 1/1/94

Our first married project!

We decided the the pups needed a beautiful home too so after much planning (on Zach's part) the house was underway. Zach built the entire thing by hand with his cool new power tools....then I got to add the artsy element by doing a faux brick exterior. We really hope Sydney and Emma will love chillin in their new crib especially on those rainy days. Although during the summer months they are very spoiled and spend most of the day inside with pops!

The great month of May

May brought so much excitement. Not only was Zach finished with law school but we were also looking forward and making final plans for the big wedding weekend. Somehow, in between all of the big events, we still managed to squeeze in an awesome trip to Las Vegas, a couples shower, and my 26th birthday party! May was a great month and one I know I will never forget!

May 31, 2008: OUR WEDDING! Natchez, MS

The most wonderful weekend of our life began with a night out with the friends, then a southern rehearsal dinner poolside, and the grand finale.... the most romantic, emotional, fun, crazy, hot, and personal evening ever. We had a really special wedding at Jefferson Street United Methodist church followed by an awesome reception. Our guests danced and partied all night with us. We ate Regina's amazing food and sipped tastey summer cocktails! Oh and Phat Hat was THE BEST band ever!

March 15, 2008: Kellen & Becky's Wedding, Natchez, MS

Kellen and B tie the knot!!! What an amazing March evening in the most beautiful southern town...the perfect backdrop for a beautiful wedding! Becky was stunning and Kellen was so handsome...as the bumble bee flew around their heads... these two high school sweethearts finally said I DO! After the reception we partied all night at Bowie's and Andrews with the new couple.
